Norfolk Church Count - 101

A century of Norfolk churches now visited as of today. Only another 550 ish to go. Don't let the blue sky in some of the photos fool you, it was at times another wintry ride.

Norfolk Church Count - 84

2nd March 2013

Went out for a 2 hour ride, here's the route http://www.mapmyride.com/workout/238614670

Only managed to get one picture as didn't come across any other churches. Past a couple I'd already seen before.

So, here it is

St Andrew. Attlebridge
http://norfolkchurches.co.uk/attlebridge/attlebridge.htm

9 March 2013

Terrible bike ride. Wet and cold. Just took pictures of the two churches i went past. Couldn't actually see much more as my glasses were fogged up for the majority of the journey.

Rode through the deepest puddle ever to get to the Smallburgh church. I was actually peddling underwater at one point. Smallburgh was where i grew up from when i was 14 years old.

These next two churches are probably less than 1 mile apart.

St Lawrence. Beeston St Lawrence

St Mary. Great Plumstead

Took two of this one as it was well tucked in between trees. Hidden quite a way back from the road, I rode straight past it. Weather turned for the better after leaving here.

Saturday 9 February 2013

Norfolk Church Count - 73

Four more churches (one is a ruin) seen today on what was quite a fast (for me) 27 mile bike ride. First ride i've actually managed to do in complete sunshine this year as well.

Here's the route - http://www.mapmyride.com/workout/230783042

Although i went through Rackheath (twice) i failed to get a picture of the church. Will have to find out exactly where that one is

Here's the churches

All Saints. Panxworth
http://norfolkchurches.co.uk/panxworth/panxworth.htm

St Helen. Ranworth
http://norfolkchurches.co.uk/ranworth/ranworth.htm
Got talking to a friendly old chap outside the next church. Apparently, this is the only church in the UK that is dedicated to both St Fabian & St Sebastian.
St Fabian & St Sebastian. Woodbastwick
http://norfolkchurches.co.uk/woodbastwick/index.html

Had to take two pictures of the next one as it was quite awkward trying to get it all in.

All Saints. Salhouse

http://norfolkchurches.co.uk/salhouse/salhouse.htm

That's it for this week.

Cheers
